When you place an order through our online shop, we require information necessary to process the transaction, manufacture your products and arrange delivery or collection.

This may include your name, company details, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, email address, selected products, artwork and other order information.

Without certain required information, we may be unable to process or fulfil your order.

5. Payment Information

Online payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers.

Depending on the payment method used, payment card or banking information may be entered directly into systems operated by the relevant payment provider rather than being stored by Limegreen.

Limegreen may receive information such as payment status, transaction references and information required to reconcile your order.

Customers should never send full payment-card details to Limegreen by ordinary email.

6. Artwork and Uploaded Files

Customers may upload or provide artwork, photographs, logos, graphics and other files required to manufacture customised products.

Artwork may itself contain personal information, such as names, photographs, telephone numbers, email addresses or other identifying information.

We process artwork and uploaded files where reasonably necessary to prepare quotations, check files, create proofs, obtain approval, manufacture products, fulfil orders, provide customer service and maintain appropriate production records.

Please avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in artwork files.

7. Artwork Retention

Limegreen may retain artwork and production files for a reasonable period where necessary for customer service, repeat orders, production records, dispute resolution or other legitimate business purposes.

Files will not be retained for longer than reasonably necessary unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.

This may include:

Personal information should only be provided to these parties where reasonably necessary for the service they perform or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

10. Security

Limegreen takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage, unauthorised destruction, unlawful access, interference, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

These measures may include appropriate website security, access controls, secure account credentials, software maintenance, backups and the use of reputable payment and service providers.

No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If Limegreen becomes aware of a security compromise involving personal information, we will investigate the incident and take reasonable steps to contain and address it.

Where notification is required under applicable law, Limegreen will notify the appropriate authority and affected data subjects as required.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve website functionality.

These technologies may be used for purposes including:

  • checkout and customer sessions;
  • website security;
  • remembering website preferences;
  • website performance;
  • analytics; and
  • other enabled website functions.

Where consent is legally required for a particular non-essential cookie or technology, the appropriate consent should be requested.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies required for the operation of the online shop may prevent certain website functions from working correctly.

13. Marketing Communications

Communications necessary to process an order, provide artwork proofs, obtain approvals, provide delivery information or otherwise service an existing transaction are transactional communications and are separate from marketing communications.

Where Limegreen sends electronic direct marketing, we will do so in accordance with applicable South African law.

Where required, we will obtain appropriate consent before sending electronic direct marketing.

Marketing communications should provide an appropriate method to unsubscribe or object to further marketing.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent Limegreen from sending communications that are necessary to process or support an order.

14. Retention of Personal Information

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required or permitted by law.

Different information may require different retention periods because of accounting, tax, transaction, production, warranty, dispute-resolution, legal or regulatory requirements.

Where information is no longer required and there is no lawful reason to retain it, it should be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified as appropriate.
